Imperial Golf Estates in Naples, Florida, is a gated golf community that contains about 600 homes, ranging from single family homes to villas and condos. The homes in the community were constructed between 1979 and 2013. Imperial Golf Estates contains two 18 hole championship golf courses and is considered as a non-mandatory Naples golf equity club, so residents are not required to have a club membership. However, the golf and country club remain private, and memberships are available to both residents and non-residents of the community.
The community’s perfect combination of excellent golf courses and beautiful homes has given it a reputation as one of the premier communities in the city. The majority of Imperial Golf Estates golf club members are not residents of the community. Residents that are interested in joining the club may select from a full golf membership, annual golf membership, associate golf membership, social membership or a social membership with summer golf. In addition, seasonal residents of the community can take advantage of reciprocal benefits at 76 private golf clubs. Each of the golf courses is perfectly maintained to ensure a world class playing experience. The courses, which were designed by legendary architects Arthur Hills and Chip Powell, provide the ideal setting for any round of golf, whether it is a tournament or a casual game with friends.
The community covers a huge area of land that extends almost to Livingston Road from east of US Route 41. Nearly all the homes and condominiums are situated right along the golf course which provides residents with gorgeous views of the lakes and fairways. Homeowners are required to pay quarterly HOA dues, and condo owners must pay a quarterly condo fee. The community is served by the Naples Public School District, and the local schools are the Sea Gate Elementary School, Pine Ridge Middle School, and Barron Collier High School.
In addition to golf, the community offers a wide variety of social activities for residents, such as card games, book clubs and wine tasting. In addition, there are social dinners to introduce new residents to the community. Residents can also take advantage of group trips, including bike tours, fishing trips, shopping trips and much more. The community clubhouse is a stunning building that contains 32,000 square feet for casual and fine dining, banquet seating, and other functions. The relaxed clubhouse atmosphere provides the perfect opportunity for residents to unwind and socialize with their friends and neighbors.
Due to the huge size of the community, it is split into 12 distinct subdivisions. These include Abbey on the Lake, Bermuda Greens, Castlewood, Charleston Square, Imperial Gardens, Imperial Park Place Villas, Island, Manors of Regal Life, Park Place West, Wedgefield Villas, Westgate and Weybridge. Each subdivision contains various types of residences, ranging from charming condominium units to luxurious single family homes. Therefore, there is a home in the community to appeal to the budget and needs of virtually any buyer looking for a home in a beautiful gated golf community.
